How to connect or disconnect your Instagram to Insense

Follow these steps to link, unlink, or troubleshoot your Instagram account connection with Insense

To connect your Instagram account to Insense:

  1. Update the Insense app to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play Store. If you're experiencing issues, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
  2. Open the Insense app and log in to your account.
  3. Follow the prompts to connect your Instagram account.
    • If you're creating a new account, you'll be prompted during onboarding.
    • If you already have an Insense account, go to Account and select Add Profile.
  4. Log in to Instagram and authorize the connection when prompted.

To connect your Instagram account, it must be set up as a Professional Account.

If your account is currently set as a Personal account, Instagram will notify you during the connection process and guide you through switching to a Professional account.

The setup only takes a few minutes and can be completed directly within Instagram.

Troubleshooting Connection Issues

If you're unable to connect your Instagram account:

  • Make sure you're using the latest version of the Insense app.
  • Try logging out and back into Instagram.
  • Remove and reinstall the Insense app.
  • Confirm that your Instagram account is set to Professional.

If the issue persists, contact our Support Team through the Insense app by navigating to Account → Support.

Disconnecting Your Instagram Account

To remove an Instagram profile from your Insense account:

  1. Go to Account.
  2. Select the profile you'd like to remove.
  3. Tap Basic Info.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
  5. Select Delete Profile.

Please note that deleting a profile may affect your eligibility for campaigns connected to that social media account.
