I failed the Moderation stage. How can I reapply?

Didn’t pass moderation? Here’s why and how to improve your profile for a successful reapplication.

If you didn’t pass the Moderation stage, check your email for detailed feedback. Here are some of the most common rejection reasons:
  • Portfolio Quality: Your portfolio didn’t meet the requirements. A strong portfolio showcases your uniqueness as a creator and is key to attracting brand partnerships. Check the portfolio requirements here.
  • Content Quality: Your content style or quality doesn’t align with what brands are looking for, or it’s unclear how brands’ products/services could integrate into your work.
  • Number of views / followers / engagement rate: Your metrics don't align with our requirements, or there were concerns about verifying the authenticity of your audience.
    • Instagram & TikTok: 1,000 followers, 1,000 average views, 1% ER
  • Brand or Community: You applied using a profile that represents a brand or a community rather than an individual creator. Insense only works with individual creators for campaigns.
  • Prohibited Content: Your account contains elements flagged as inappropriate, such as hate speech or other restricted material.
  • Adult Content: Your account includes nudity or other adult content.
  • Wrong Handle: We couldn’t verify your account due to a misspelled handle. Ensure your username is accurate.
  • Location: Campaigns may not yet be available in your region. Currently, Insense supports creators in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, the EU, and select list of other countries. Don’t worry—we’re always expanding!

How Can I Reapply?

Taking into account the reason you were rejected, please make the necessary updates to your profile before reapplying.

You can then request a re-moderation of your account after 2 weeks directly on the Account tab.

Are you a UGC creator?

If you've applied to Insense as a creator and were not approved, you may be eligible to reapply as a UGC-only creator directly through the app.

This option is available to creators who were denied due to account metrics, rather than content quality.

Here is how to reapply.
