How to connect and disconnect a TikTok or an Instagram profile

Adding your TikTok Account

1. Go to the Insense app, then "Account" → “Add new profile” → "TikTok"
   
   

2. Sign in to the TikTok profile you want to add
   
   

3. Follow the instructions on-screen to finish the process

Instagram

Requirements to add an Instagram Profile

1. Your Instagram account should be set as a Business account;

2. Your Instagram account must be linked to a Facebook Business page - not just your Facebook account, or just sharing posts with it - and you should have admin rights for ads to it.

Adding an Instagram profile

1. Make sure your Instagram is set as a Business account and properly connected to a Facebook page (not just an account, or just sharing posts). You can check this information in your Instagram app, under "Settings and activity"-> "Creator tools and controls" -> "Connect to a Facebook Page".
   
   If this option is showing on your Instagram, it means it's NOT YET connected to an Facebook page. Please click on it and follow Meta's instructions on the screen to make this connection.
   
   
2. Once this is set, go to the Insense app, "Account" -> "Add new profile" and follow the instructions on the screen.
   
   
3. Login with the same Facebook account that your Instagram is connected, and select the profile you'd like to connect.

Delete or remove a TikTok or an Instagram profile

Please go to "Account" -> Find the profile you'd like to remove and click on "Basic Info" -> Scroll down and click on "Delete Profile" ✅

Troubleshooting

I can't connect my Instagram

• Try it via the mobile app. Our Insense mobile app is the main channel for creators. Please keep it updated and try connecting your socials there.
• Confirm that your Instagram profile is a business profile. If you don’t have an Instagram Business profile yet, convert your Instagram personal profile to a Business account.
• Confirm that you have an Admin or Editor Page role for your Facebook page. Check this Facebook help center article to learn how to see what your role is on a Facebook Page.
• Connect your Instagram account to a Facebook page. Note: Only one Instagram profile can be connected to a Facebook page and vice versa. Your Instagram may be connected to your Facebook account, while still not being connected to a Facebook page.

I can't connect my TikTok

When you are trying to connect your TikTok account to Insense or to apply to a campaign on the app, you need to choose the option to log in to your TikTok using your email and password.

The wrong TikTok profile is being pulled automatically

Our app will pull the TikTok profile that is currently logged in on your default browser app (Safari, Chrome, etc.) Please open your browser apps, go to TikTok, and logout of any account that is currently logged before trying to connect it on Insense.

"Something went wrong!" error

This means your social profile is already connected to another account. Please log in with any other account you created previously.
