How to Set up Partnership Ads on your Instagram.

To do this, you must:

  1. Give the Brand permission to run Branded Content Ads on your account;

  2. Add the Brand as a “Brand Partner” in every post you want to give them permission to boost.

Let’s take a close look at each point.

1 - Give permission to the Brand to run Partnership Ads from your account

When a brand sends a request to run paid ads from your account, you will receive a notification on your Instagram. This notification leads to the Brand Partner Ads Permission Center:

Along with the notification, you’ll also receive an automatic DM from the brand requesting the permission:

You can also find the request in the Permission Center, by clicking on your Settings on Instagram, then Business → Branded Content Ads → Brand Partners. There, you'll see the brand's request, and you'll be able to approve it.:

2 - Add the brand as a “Brand Partner” in your posts

When posting the content for a Partnership Ads Campaign, you must add the brand you’re working with, and that you previously gave Partnership Ads permission in your account, as a “Brand Partner” in your Instagram post.

To do this, before hitting “Share” when creating a new post, click on “Advanced settings” → Toggle “Add paid partnership label” → select “Add Brand Partner” → Find the brand and hit “Add” then “Next” → And toggle “Allow brand partner to boost”
