What is Partnership Ads?

“Partnership Ads” is an official Meta technique, that lets brands boost organic posts directly from the Creator’s IG account, similar to Creator Licensing (Whitelisting).

In a few words, when a creator shares a branded content post or story with their audience, they can give permission to a brand to turn that content into an ad + the brand’s handle is shown along with the creator’s handle.

And Partnership Ads are much more beneficial for Content Creators than regular ads. Why? Essentially, brands will be investing money to boost content directly from the Creator's profile, making their post reach a much broader audience.

But no, this does not give brands full control over your account. The brands you collab within this kind of campaign, will have access to data about their Ads and the posts they choose to boost, but they will not have control over your account.

In fact, for a Brand to be able to boost content in your account, you need to add them as a “Brand Partner” in the advanced setting of the post.
