How to join Insense as a UGC-only creator
Learn how to apply for a UGC-only account and what you need to get approved
If you don't want to connect social media accounts or focus on influencer campaigns, you can apply as a UGC-only Creator directly through the Insense app.
UGC-only creators can apply for campaigns that focus exclusively on content creation, without requiring content to be posted on personal social media profiles.
If you don't want to connect social media accounts, you can apply as a UGC-only Creator directly through the Insense app.
To apply:
- Open the Insense app.
- Go to the Account tab.
- Click Apply as UGC-only Creator.
- Submit your portfolio for review.
Our moderation team will review your application and determine whether your portfolio meets the quality standards brands look for when hiring UGC creators.
Portfolio Requirements
Before applying, make sure your portfolio includes:
- 6–12 videos;
- Content featuring at least 2 different product categories (such as Beauty, Lifestyle, Kids & Parenting, etc.);
- At least 2 different video formats (such as Unboxing, Product Demo, Tutorial, or Testimonial videos);
- Examples of both on-camera speaking and voice-over content;
- Good technical quality, including lighting, audio, and editing;
- No filters or watermarks.
Your portfolio should clearly demonstrate your ability to create authentic, engaging content that brands can use in their marketing campaigns.
Reapplying After a Rejection
If your application is not approved, you can improve your portfolio and apply again after 14 days.
Please note that re-reviews are only available through the Insense app.
When you're ready, simply return to the Account tab and submit a new application for either a UGC-only account or a full creator account.
Tips for Getting Approved
To improve your chances of approval:
- Showcase a variety of products and content styles;
- Include both talking-head and voice-over videos;
- Ensure your videos have clear audio and good lighting;
- Upload your strongest and most recent work.
A strong portfolio helps brands evaluate your skills and increases your chances of being approved as a UGC creator on Insense.
