Understanding the Campaign Brief
Learn where to find all the information you need before applying to a campaign
Every campaign on Insense includes a detailed Campaign Brief. This is where brands share everything you need to know about the opportunity, such as:
-
Budget
-
Shipment details;
-
Product description;
-
Brand;
-
Content to Create;
-
Type of Campaign;
-
Technical requirements.
IMPORTANT: All the information on this page is part of the campaign brief. You MUST read it carefully, as everything you need to know to create the content can be found here.
Let’s break down each of these topics and how to navigate and understand the Campaign Brief.
Budget
This information can be found both in the "Explore" and "Invitations" pages, right below the campaign title and brand. Also, once you click on the campaign, you will find it under the title. The budget represents the amount the brand is willing to pay each creator selected for the campaign.

Shipment details
Inside the campaign brief, scrolling a bit down, you can find the kind of shipment the brand decided to use in this campaign. There are 3 different types:
-
Reimbursement – You'll purchase the product yourself, submit proof of purchase, and receive reimbursement once the campaign is completed. Reimbursements are guaranteed by Insense.
- Physical Product – The brand will ship the product directly to the mailing address provided in your profile after you're hired.
-
Digital Product – No shipment is required. This is commonly used for apps, subscriptions, software, or other digital services.

Content to Create
This is one of the most important sections of the Campaign Brief.
Here, brands outline exactly what they expect you to create. These requirements are organized into individual Deliverables. Each deliverable may include:
- Script guidance and talking points;
- Required messages or product features to highlight;
- Dos and Don'ts;
- Music usage requirements;
- Technical specifications, such as aspect ratio and video format;
- Raw footage requirements.
Always review every deliverable carefully before applying to ensure you understand the content expectations.
Best practice: Even when raw footage isn't required, providing it can help create a smoother experience for the brand and increase your chances of future collaborations.

Campaigns on Insense typically fall into one of three categories:
- Content Only – No posting required;
- Content + Posting – Posting on your social media account is required;
- Content + Creator Licensing – The brand receives permission to use your content for advertising purposes.
